Assignment - Prepare a PowerPoint based presentation (8-9 slides - with accompanying notes and Table of References) analysing appropriate depth of your company's:
• Size, sector and type of business
• Identify key factors in the Internal(appropriate factors ) and External business environment that might affect your company
• Construct a PESTEL analysis, Porters Five Forces and Ansoff Matrix for your chosen company.
• Evaluate the rate at which the key factors are changing.
The assignment has two parts:
1) Research notes & Table of References
Research notes (approximately 2000 words) outlining research undertaken using a variety of independent sources of information to prepare the presentation. The notes should provide evidence of the research undertaken and its substance. Notes should be in methodical structure mirroring the PowerPoint slides; the notes should be organised thematically. Short paragraphs providing information to substantiate the points made on the slides. The notes should be accompanied by a Table of Reference in the correct format. The Table of References is not included in the word limit.
2) PowerPoint presentation
A slide presentation using words, images, charts and tables (if/as appropriate) analysing the size, sector, and type of business; analysis of the political, legal and regulatory, socio-cultural and demographic, and technological environments in which your assigned company operates. Construct a Porters Five Forces and Ansoff Matrix for your chosen company, Identify key factors in the internal and external environment that might affect your company and/or influence decisions made by managers in the company. Evaluate the rate at which the key factors are changing.
