Julie has a mental health worker who she sees sporadically. Julie is brought into your AOD service by the mental health worker. You observe that Julie is very quiet, her complexion is pale and she appears very fidgety. Julie asks her mental health worker to do the talking for her, which she does. The mental health worker advises you that Julie misuses ice and binge drinks alcohol on the weekends. Julie is not currently on any medication for her depression and anxiety. Julie has been couch surfing for the last 6 months and thinks she has an outreach worker for housing support. Julie then tells you that she has court in a couple of days but cannot remember why.
