Assessment - Quality improvement proposal
Those of you who undertook NSG2104 in Semester 1 will remember you were required to conduct a literature review based on one of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Taking the Health Services Standard you selected, you are now required to develop a quality improvement project based on the Health Services Standard you addressed previously.
The content of the proposal will include: the background of the project statement of the problem; significance or importance of the problem: a brief review of related literature; the premise of the project: the aim of your Q1 project, assumptions. definitions and measurements; outline of the project procedure and the use of appropriate improvement approach (PDSA for example); how findings might be disseminated See the suggested framework (below) for how you might present your proposal.
