Assignment -

Choose an airline that you are familiar with and/or that has a good set of public documentation pertaining to it.

Conduct an analysis to plan (for the aforementioned airline) for two routes of your choosing. This should account for:

a) The type of aircraft(s) to be used.

b) The cabin design and classes (for each type of chosen aircraft, you could have more than one design/classes configuration for the same type of aircraft).

c) The frequency of flights

d) The level of service ( this will not only impact cabin design but also the entertainment level and catering- number and type of meals/drinks offered- as well as the number of flight attendants in the cabin and for each class).

Notes:

1- You need to account for the main competitors on the chosen routes.

2- Aircraft(s) performance and characteristics should be included in the analysis.

3- The branding of you chosen airline should be taken into account.

4- The general strategy of your chosen airline should affect your analysis of the above points and choice of routes.

5- Conduct an in-depth research of your airline, market segments, competition, type of in cabin features (seats, entertainment, catering etc.) to help you support your analysis.
