Research proposal on 'Innovation as a strategy for survival and growth by manufacturing small enterprises' in Glenview Furniture Complex, Zimbabwe.

Research objectives - The objectives of this research is to find out the factors which can bring about innovation in company. It is also aimed to find the right innovation strategy or strategies for the company to enable to fight the local competition and also enter into foreign market. The objectives are as follows-

1. To determine the role, components and structure of an innovation strategy.

2. To verify the benefits a small enterprises has by the adoption of an innovation strategy.

3. To verify the common innovation strategy used by the small enterprises in Zimbabwe.

4. To determine strategic and the non-strategic internal factors of innovation in small enterprises.

5. To ascertain the best innovation strategy for the furniture manufacturing small enterprises in Zimbabwe.

6. To establish the aspects of product and process innovation which can be used for the wider furniture manufacturing industry of Zimbabwe.
