To study the wave nature of electrons, some physics students propose to accelerate a group of electrons during a voltage so that the de Broglie wavelength of the electrons will equal that of light (about 600nm). Interference of the electron waves can then be observed easily with passing the electrons through double slits utilized to study light interference.
