Q. A circular conducting loop of radius 29cm is located in a region of homogeneous magnetic field of magnitude 0.700T pointing perpendicular to the plane of the loop. The loop is connected in series with a resistor of 107W. The magnetic field is at the present increased at a constant rate by a factor of 2.8 in 19s.

Compute the magnitude of the induced emf in the loop as the magnetic field is increasing.

Q. A canoe has the velocity of 0.420m/s southeast relative to the earth. The canoe is on a river that is flowing at 0.570m/s east relative to the earth.
Find the magnitude of the velocity vec{v}_{rm c/r} of the canoe relative to river.
