The fundamental frequencies from a guitar string and a 440 Hertz tuning fork give three beats per sec. Slightly loosening the guitar string causes its fundamental frequency to decrease and the beat frequency to increase. Compute the fundamental frequency of the guitar string before it was loosened slightly.
