Exercise

Compute the critical edge load NxCR for a plate simply supported around the boundary, with length a = 2 m (along x), width b = 1 m, t = 1 cm. The laminate is made of E-glass-polyester with V= 0.5 with a symmetric configuration defined by α = β = 0.2, γ = 0.6. Compare your answer with given Figure.
