Case: Consider the truss structure shown below. ALL of the members have a Young's modulus of E=300 and have a cross-sectional area of 50.

Question 1: Assign numbers to the degrees of freedom in the structure and draw them on the figure. Use whatever order you want; justify it if you feel the need.

Question 2: Assemble the stiffness matrix and force vector for this problem. Confirm that the displacements of the truss are as below (Hint: confirmation doesn't require inverting).
