A sequential circuit receives decimal numbers encoded in BCD one digit (4 bits) at a time, starting with the least significant digit. The circuit outputs are the 10's complement of the input number, also encoded in BCD least significant digit first. Input decimal numbers are separated by one or more inputs of all 1's, during which the circuit outputs all 1's. Once valid BCD digits of a new number start, the circuit resumes computing and outputting the 10's complement of the new number. Construct a state table and an output table for the circuit. (2 states are sufficient)
The integer array and the size of the array are passed into the function through parameters. Do not worry about includes. This is only a function, so there is no main routine. The function should fill the array with valid inputs.
an automobile travels 1200ft in 30s while being accelerated at a constant rate of 1.8 ft/s^2. Determine (a) its initial velocity, (b) its final velocity, (c) the distance traveled during the first 10s
Find the current change brought about by subjecting a 1 mH sinductance to a voltage pulse having an amplitude of 1V and a duration of 1 ms.
A three-phase, wye-connected, 20-MW load of power factor 0.866 lagging is to be supplied by a transmission line at 138 kV. It is desired that the line losses not exceed 5 percent of the load. If the per-phase resistance of the line is 0.7 Ohm
Two amplifiers are cascaded, one with a voltage gain of 6 db and the other with a voltage gain of 4. If 1 V is applied at the input of the first amplifier, what is the voltage at the output of the second amplifier
The potentiometer extends between positions 1.9 cm and 54.6 cm on the scale. The voltage read by the DMM is 1.000 V and the current read the by DMM is 42mA. What is the resistance per unit length of the nichrome wire
(a) Determine the steady state error for a unit step input R(s) = 1 / s. (b) Assume that the complex poles dominate, and determine the overshoot and settling time to within 2% of the final value.
a). Develop a function with the name myAMmod to modulate the message signal. Use a carrier frequency fc=200hz. Plot the magnitude spectrum of the message signal and the modulated signal and explain the difference between them.
State the approximate sampling distribution of theta hat, the proportion of persons who spent more than 1200 on a pc. Find the probability that more than 60% of this group spent more than 1200.
Draw the logic diagram for the 4-bit circuit, using full adders and multiplexers. Determine the arithmetic operation performed for each of the four combinations of S and Cin: 00, 01, 10, and 11.
Developing secret codes has interested people for centuries. A simple coding scheme can be developed by replacing each character in a text file by another character that is a fixed number of positions away in the collating sequence.
A certain logic family has the following voltage parameters: VIH(min)=3.5V , VIL(max)=1.0V; VOH(min)=4.9V, VOL(max)=0.1V a) What is the largest positive-going noise spike that can be tolerated
