Completing the entire textbook is how you will learn the work and be prepared when your certification time comes. However, we have limited time in our curriculum - so, even if a task is not explicitly assigned, you should take the time to review it.

These helpful tips will ensure you get started on the path to success!

Read every word of all instructions carefully. For EXL-5 In the Lab you will upload the following files: Lab 6-2 Rental Units Table Complete. NOTE: Save all queries created in part 4, 8F. There should be 7 work sheets, one for each query plus the original. Use the index of your textbook to look up any unfamiliar tasks. If the instructions ask you to save to a USB flash drive, please disregard. Save the files to your student folder on your computer. If the instructions ask you to print the document, please disregard. Instead, save the file under the name specified in your textbook and add "_print" at the end of the save name. Save your assignments correctly (with the name asked of you in the textbook).

For your Apply Your Knowledge, Extend Your Knowledge, and Expand Your World practice, place all saved documents in a zipped folder named in the correct format (firstname_lastname_PracticeEXL_week_5), for your own use. Double-check your work before submission. Note: The chapter names in this textbook are called "Modules". We will refer to them as Chapters to avoid confusion with the terminology we use for this portion of your program, which is called the "Excel Module".
