Students typically enhance their learning when class concepts are related to current events. Students are encouraged to explore news items from countries other than the United States.
Requirements: 10 journal assignments will be collected during the semester (dates on syllabus). Each assignment is due on a Friday at 8:00am. Assignments are submitted through Blackboard, under Course Content for the relevant unit. Students are not to attach assignments, but are to directly submit to Journal link on Blackboard. There will be no late assignments accepted.
The Assignment: Students are to complete a summary and reflection of a current news article, one that has been published no more than 10 days prior to when the assignment is submitted.
