Assignment - Scope of work: There is a company that has hired our construction company to construct (from the ground up) a 50 foot by 50 foot building with cement as the flooring, electrical outlets, light fixtures, heating and cooling system, with 6 offices inside of it to include two large bay doors that are 15 feet wide and 25 feet tall.
No painting is required as they will elect to choose their own painter. The landscape will be included in the final product. The land is owned by the hiring company. You have been tasked to complete a project charter (template included) 5-7 pages in length. The intent of this building is to store their heavy construction equipment in the building as a staging area and the offices will serve as work stations to manage paperwork and calls for the use of the equipment.
Using Microsoft Project come up with 30-100 activities easily for your schedule baseline. Once those activities have been identified, finish your schedule by plugging in the start and finish dates, durations, predecessor relationships, and adding cost and resource names. Resource names and cost can be added in the main summary page or directly in the resource sheet.
Your project name must go in the first row, and all other activates should be indented under it. You should link all activities to summary tasks and sub-activities to the main activity. You may make assumptions for any of this work, and estimates do not need to be real.
