You are required to cite all additional sources used to support your critique, including your choice of critical appraisal tool/s.

Please follow the steps below to guide your critical appraisal:

1. Find a relevant critical appraisal tool from CASP website, which suits to the research methodology of each article.

2. Each critical appraisal tool is comprised of a set number of questions. Review the questions carefully and answer each question in the CASP word document. These notes will assist you in writing your appraisal.

3. In the body of your appraisal, you need to respond to the CASP tool questions, using relevant other literature to support your response.

4. Lastly, comment briefly on the author and journal credibility (including the journal ranking) of each paper. Choose only the first and last author and cover expertise.

5. Repeat steps 1-5 for the second research article.
