The assignment is about reproduction in cells. There are two types of reproduction- mitosis and meiosis. Both have the same purpose i.e., to produce new cells but their mode is different. One is asexual while the other is sexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction generates diversity in new cells due to crossing over of genes and produce new combinations which are helpful in surviving with changing environment.
