Assignment Objective
The main objective of this assignment is to make student develop a clear understanding of the above learning outcomes.

Assignment Tasks

Task 1

Submit a work proposal for this assignment or before 23:59 Hrs on 02/12/2020 which must include:
• General overview of initial understanding of solutions to all the tasks
• What you will do with the given tasks and the dates by when they will be completed (timelines)
• Identification of Literature Resources
The work proposal must be submitted in a word file through the link available in Moodle.

Task 2

Scenario and Deliverables: Implementing a Data Integration Solution for the selected organization in assignment 1.

Investigate and devise a data integration solution in order to generate a certain management report. Analyze and make suitable assumptions for the transaction database (OLTP) in the selected organization which holds several tables. Choose two of these in order to consolidate data into the desired management report. Populate these tables by assuming/generating the necessary data in high orders (preferably thousands of rows). Each table must have at least 10 columns each and comprise of data types composed of integer, date, varchar2, etc. Create and use a new OLAP database instead. You are required to design and develop a data warehousing solution to integrate data from OLTP system so as to generate the desired management report.

Task 3

Perform the following steps given below and produce a comprehensive report in your own words about how you achieved the desired solution (do not include all the screenshots, but only the final ones in each step; also briefly explain in your own words all the major steps involved):

• Name the Project; Establish Database Connections - Create Source/Target Location.
• Design the Target Schema
• Design the necessary Extraction, Transformation, Loading (ETL) Logic. Deploy the Design and Execute the scenario you have chosen.

Task 4: Read the research article on" A Comparative Study of Data Mining Classification Techniques using Lung Cancer Data". Critically discuss five popular classifiers considering their qualitative performance for the experiment.

Task 5: MOOC Course. Select any mooc course related to data warehouse or data mining and provide certificate or course completion details with reflective summary.
