Glen is charged with assaulting Mary. They have lived in a common-law relationship for the last 3 years. On November 3, 2024, police were called to their residence. Mary reported to police that she and Glen had been arguing about finances when Glen suddenly punched her in the face. The police observed bruising to Mary's face, and accordingly, Glen was charged with assault. The Crown wishes to lead evidence of two instances of prior discreditable conduct involving Glen at trial. The first incident relates to an incident that happened at Glen's workplace 6 years ago, where he broke the nose of a co- worker in a fight they had in the parking lot. The second incident relates to a previous assault Glen committed on Mary on June 23, 2023, where Glen grabbed Mary forcibly by the wrist, causing pain and bruising. Mary attended the hospital for treatment, but the incident was not reported to the police then. Is the evidence of these incidents of prior discreditable conduct admissible at Glen's trial?
