In a simple series circuit a battery is connected through an ammeter to an electriclamp. A voltmeter is connected parallel to the lamp. The ammeterreads 0.75 A and the voltmeter 50 V. What is the resistance of the lamp neglecting the current drawn by the voltmeter? If the currentin the voltmeter is 0.001 A for each volt it indicates, what is theactual current in the lamp and the corrected value of the resistance?
