Task description:

Prepare and deliver an 8-minute oral presentation advocating for children's rights and the publkgood in a particular context of your choice. Include reference to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and other relevant literature in your presentation.

Please prepare a PowerPoint presentation slides and script.

Students arerequired to do a recording of their presentation and submit this with their PowerPoint and script.

Criteria:

Choose a context of advocacy for children's rights, explain the context (can be a specific issue or place), focus on early childhood education (ECE)

Choose two - three children's rights to advocate, relevant to the context of ECE you choose

Explain each children's rights related to contextualised issues, using relevant empirical evidence from literature

Provide recommendations to accommodate and support children's rights, focus on the contextualised issues

Use relevant academic readings (including the set text) to support your presentation, references should be included in the presentation.

The presentation should be recorded, with a link to the recorded presentation included in the presentation slides and submitted along with the script.
