Activities you need to complete as part of this task are provided in the following table. Your answers must be specific to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in your region and the information session being planned.
EVALUATE CULTURAL SAFETY STRATEGIES - Part A (in 30-40 words each)
1.1 Set 3 (three) outcomes against which you could measure the cultural safety strategies

1.3 What method would you use to review and measure outcomes of the cultural safety strategies you implemented for the information session?
1.4 Outline 2 (two) strategies in involving the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in your evaluations. Whom would you involve in these evaluations?
2 Task:
You must now evaluate your plan and proposed outcomes against which cultural safety strategies can be measured. You must involve persons approved of by relevant local community elders when undertaking this task. Interact with appropriate personnel and seek their feedback in improving your plan.

2.1 Whom (persons approved of by relevant local community elders) did you liaise with in evaluating your plan and proposed outcomes?
2.2 Write a report on the feedback received from the review process.
2.3 Revise your planned strategies based on this evaluation and describe changes you have made in your plan and proposed outcomes.
3 Task : Develop Strategies for Improved Cultural Safety
As part of this task, you are required to develop strategies for improved cultural safety when working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in your region (in relation to providing the information session). Activities you need to complete are provided in the questions below. Your answers must be 30-40 words each and specific to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in your region and the information session being planned.
3.1 How would you establish effective partnerships with the staff at the Aboriginal community organisation in relation to providing the information session?
3.2 How would you establish effective partnerships with the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and their communities in relation to providing the information session?
3.3 Identify two (2) resources you could access and use to promote partnerships between staff, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and their communities.
3.4 Provide an example each for how you would utilise these resources in the context of your information session.
3.5 Plan and document different ways (minimum three) to support the delivery of a culturally safe information session to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in your region
3.6 Plan and document different ways (minimum three) to encourage increased participation of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in your region in the information session.
(You must include in your response how you would integrate strategies that would encourage self-determination and community control among the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the information session)
