Given that life continues to change and to adapt to changing conditions, how do you think natural selection will affect humans over a long period of time (if we survive)? Speculate on what changes might allow humans to be more successful in their own environment. For example, could we develop six fingers for texting better? Could we develop telepathy, grow chloroplasts? Would brain structure change to allow us to think better, have more finely developed sense of morality and religion? Don't forget that whatever changes occur might also have negative consequences. For example, if brain structure changed, we might not be as physically capable as we are now. 250 WORDS

Describe in 250 words a genetic or genetically-influenced condition or disease that has occurred in family or friends (do NOT use names or other personally-identifying information). How is the condition being treated? Is there an avoidable risk of recurrence in other family members?
