However, it is possible that hospitals could help nurses overcome these challenges, and thereby, increase their motivation. Imagine that you are a consultant, and a hospital administrator has asked you for recommendations on how to increase the motivation of the hospital's nurses. Using what you know about the challenges that nurses face and your knowledge of the needs-based theories of work motivation, write an initial post in which you identify three ways that you think the hospital could increase motivation of its nurses. Be sure to tie these suggestions back to Frederick Herzberg and the Two-factor Theory and Clayton Alderfer and ERG Theory - Content Models of Motivation.
