This assessment focuses on your ability to differentiate a lesson to meet the needs of a diverse learner. You will select a literacy-based resource from your KLA and adapt it to suit the learning needs of a student profile (from Assessment 1). Task Instructions

This assessment has Three Parts.
Part A: Introduction, Lesson Context, and Resource (150-250 word Guideline)
Provide an introduction that outlines the lesson context.
Describe the original resource and its intended use in the lesson.
Present both the original and the differentiated versions of the resource, clearly labelling each.
Part B: Explanation
Write a 450-500 word explanation of why you chose to differentiate the resource in this way.
Link your strategies to the student's specific learning needs.
Part C: Vocabulary List
Provide a list of 10 key terms relevant to your KLA and topic/unit.
Include a clear, student-friendly definition for each term.
