Context - The objective of this group assignment is to enhance your learning experience through the application of your knowledge and skills in global business economics. The focus of the group assignment is to provide you a solid understanding of international trade theories, policies, practices, and payment systems in a global business environment. In this assignment, you will explore the impacts of trade policies on international trade performances, as well as on the national economy and the environment. You will be a member of a professional team and prepare a professional report to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Instructions - Your responsibility in this project is to assess the impact of trade policies and/or trade wars on international trade performance, the national economy and environment of your chosen country.

You will prepare a professional report to the Minister of Foreign affairs and Trade. You are encouraged to apply the key concepts and models of international trade and finance, trade policies (such as tariffs and nontariff barriers, dumping, export subsidy, external balances and exchange rates). You should support your analysis with relevant data and references. Make a mandatory oral presentation of up to 10 minutes and demonstrate individual contributions to the group.
