Question

According to DSM5 (2022), Delusions, hallucinations, disorganized speech, grossly disorganized or catatonic behavior, and negative symptoms. For a significant portion of the time, since the onset of the disturbance, the level of functioning in one or more major areas such as work, interpersonal relations, self-care is markedly below the level achieved prior to the onset. The disturbance is not attributed to the physiological effects of a substance, drug abuse, medication, or medical condition. So, the patient meets the criteria for the diagnosis of Schizophrenia.
