Janet is a nurse working at a large metropolitan hospital in Sydney. She is caring for a critically ill patient in Intensive Care (ICU), but today what happens with Mrs Jordan will have significant consequences for this patient's family and nurse Janet.

In this assignment which is about nurse, Janet who is taking care of Mrs. Jordan who is suffering from adenocarcinoma. The case is about a terminally ill and unconscious patient and her wish to not institute any life-sustaining measures. While this is from the patient's family, there are two alternatives which open up. One is the specialist disagrees and insists on continuing with the present treatment and second, the specialist agreeing with the family's request.
