Assessment: Case Study Analysis - Early Childhood Development (2000 words)
Students will synthesize theory, research, and practice to create a comprehensive case study analysis of a fictional or observed child aged three to five years. Drawing on developmental and learning theories (constructivist, bioecological, and cultural-historical perspectives), students will analyse the child's developmental profile, identify potential learning needs, and design an evidence-informed learning and support plan.
The plan must incorporate early intervention strategies, culturally responsive practices, and demonstrate how the educator advocates for the child's rights and inclusion within the educational and community context. Consideration of broader approaches to development can help inform the analysis and planning process.

C3. Creation of learning and support plan
C4. Evaluation of intervention and advocacy strategies, including relevant social factors that may influence child development and inclusion.
