Covering report for the case of assault causing actual bodily harm This is a case of assault causig actual bodily harm contrary to section 251 of the penal code. The brief circumstances around the case are as follows: On 8th September 2024 at aroud 1500 hours while at kamwosor ceter,she was assaulted by a person well known to her as kipruto bartege.according to the reportee,the accused assaulted her y strangling her on the neck. He also kicked her o the right leg thus sutaiig injuries . the motive of her being assaulted is that the reportee had gone to celebrate her daughter's show up in his step brother's home rather than her home. The matter was reported at metkei police statio vide ob 11/08/09/2024 at 1735 hours. The reportee was set to the kamwosor subcounty hospital for treatment . she was later issued with a P3 form and her statement together with those of the witnesses was recorded. After doing my investigations, it dawned on me that the accused person had a case to answer and hence I together with other officers arrested him and charged him accordingly.
