A Submarine dives to a depth of 312 feet in the ocean. What is the fource (in pounds) acting on a hatch that has an area of 4.7 square feet? Do not consider the atmosperica preshure in your calculation sence the pressure inside the submarine is maintained at 1 atmosphere which ofsets the 1 atmosphere of pressure that would normaly be the gauge pressure.
