Using Darcy's Law, calculate the quantity of groundwater (L/day), the seepage velocity (m/s), and the contaminant loading (Kg/day) to the river (assuming no retardation) for the following scenario. Be sure to include both a plane view and cross-sectional sketches of the conditions analyzed.

Groundwater is flowing through an unconfined, uniform, 3-m-thick sand aquifer and discharging to a river. Two wells located 50 m apart and perpendicular to the flow direction are representative of the formation flow and show a difference in water level of 1m. The hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer is 1 x 10-3 cm/s and the average contaminant concentration throughout the aquifer in the subject area is 200 mg/L. The zone of flow and contamination is 100m long as measured parallel to the river.
