Potential in infinite channel. Figure 5.51 shows the cross section through an infinitely long channel. Three sides are connected to ground potential and the top is insulated from the rest of the structure and connected to a potential which varies sinusoidally across the top as shown. The channel is filled with a material with permittivity e. Calculate the potential everywhere inside the cross section.
