A 28.0 kg block is connected to an empty 1.00 kg bucket by a cord running over a frictionless pulley. The coefficient of static friction between the table and the block is 0.450 and the coefficient of kinetic friction between the table and the block is 0.320. Sand is gradually added to the bucket until just before the system begins to move.

-Calculate the mass of sand added to the bucket.

-Determine the tension in the cord. Use the summation of the forces in the x and y direction for the block to find your answer.

-Find the TOTAL mass of the bucket in the sand. Use the summation of forces in the y direction for the bucket to find your answer.

-Find the mass of the sand in the bucket.
