A cam is to be desinged for an automated part loader.Using the motion equations, construct a chart that tabulates follower displacement versus time and cam rotation. Also plot this data when the prescribed motion for this application is as follows:
1) Rise 50mm in 1.5sec using the constant velocity motion scheme.
2) Return in 2.0 sec using the cycloidal moyion scheme.
3) Dwell for 0.75 sec .
4) Repeat the sequence.
a) Select a motion scheme that you recommend to the desinger ,And why.
b) Calculate the highest velocity,Acceleration and jerk that part would experience under that motion sheme.
Write an assembly language program to turn the stepper motor. Start a new project. Set bits 1 to 4 of PORT P ($25A) to 1 (output direction) Do not set bits 0, and 5-7, setting these bits may produce unexpected results.
A three 120 - V power line is Y-connected. The three phase outputs are marked as a,b,c. The neutral is marked as n. The phase sequence is abc. It is connected to a balanced Y- connected load, with the impedance is 12 + j 9 omega.
Explain the structure and nature of the ionosphere with reference to daily, seasonal and long-term changes and explain the modes of propagation of radio waves of different frequencies
If these nominal non--ideal parameters are replaced, one at a time, by A = 50000, Ri = 1 M and R0 = 150 (each of which is twice as bad as the nominal values), which parameter has the largest impact on the output voltage
If the accoustic impedance of water is 1.49 and for steel is 42.1, what precentage of sound energy is reflected at a water-to-steel interface? 12.5%,86.8%,43.9% or 43.59%.
A recording trace r(t) is definedas r(t) = s(t) + n(t), where s(t) =10sin(20?t) (i.e., a 10 Hz sine wave, given f= 2f) is the signal and n(t) = sin(120t) (i.e., the 60 Hz electromagnetic noise) the noise.
A design for high pass filter with butterworth characteristic is needed. Filter specification rewquire a cut-off frequency of 9 kHz for a sampling rate of 44 kHz, and a stop band attenuation of 40dB
A 60-Hz, single-phase transmission line has a length of 80 miles. Its shunt conductance (G) is 3.4A1011 S/mile, resistance (R) is 0.1 OHMS/mile, capacitance (C) is 16 pF/mile, and inductance (L) is 0.56 mH/mile.
A TTL gate with VIH (min) = 2.25 V and VIL (max) = 0.65 V is being driven by a gate with VOH (min) = 2.4 V and VOL (max) = 0.4 V. What is the maximum amplitude of noise spikes that can be tolerated on the inputs in both the HIGH and LOW states
Sketch the Bode plot (closed-loop gain vs. frequency, and closed-loop phase vs. frequency) of the amplifier. Label the gains at 0.1*f3dB, f3dB, and 10*f3dB using dB-scale. Also indicate the values of the phases at these frequencies.
(b) Calculate the power dissipated in the MOSFET when the lamp is operating at its rated current. (c) The maximum output current available from the logic system is 30mA. Explain why an NPN transistor would be unsuitable for this appli..
a) Write the system of linear equations in the form of Ax = b: (b) Use Guass-Jordan method to find A inverse (c) Use A inverse to solve the system of equations. -2x1 + x2 +x3 = -12 4x1 + 2x2 + 4x3 = 7 -x1 + x2 + 2x3 = -3
