The lowest frequency standing wave pattern that can be made on a certain string on a cello is 220Hz (which is a musical "A" note). If the length of the string (called the "scale length" on a stringed instrument like a cello or guitar) is 695mm and if the mass of the string is 1.42g calculate:

a) the tension in the string.

b) the frequency of the 3rd overtone.
