A ball of mass 1.5 kg is thrown upward. It leaves the thrower's hand with a velocity of 10 m/s. The net impulse on the ball is due to "two" forces acting on the ball - the hand acting upward, and gravity acting downward. Calculate the average force exerted by the hand on the ball while the ball is slowing down.
