Continuing with the discussion scenario for this week, the department manager will make some changes designed to increase productivity for the coding staff.

You are the coding supervisor with three coders on the staff who work full time, 8 hours a day, five days per week. The Department manager wants you to determine the current productivity standard for the coders. The HIM manager provided some data that was collected. She wants you to use it to measure the coders' current productivity and accuracy rates s a baseline so she can track and measure performance improvement from the new processes and changes.
