7mm*2mm*lmm, N52 permanent magnet is placed vertically above electromagnet as shown in the figure (position 1). The distance between the electromagnet and the magnet is 5cm. The electromagnet has 850 turns and its core diameter is 3cm and length is 4cm. The core of the coil is made of pure iron (6.3x 10-3 H/m). The current applied into the coil is 5A.

Calculate the following:

1- The magnetic field strength (B) at lcm, 3cm away from the electromagnet, and at the surface of the permanent magnet.

2- Calculate the attracting force applied at piece of magnet.

3- Repeat step 1 and 2 if the permanent magnet is placed in position 2.

4- The permanent magnet should move from position 2 to position 1, at what speed the motion will be.
