7mm*2mm*lmm, N52 permanent magnet is placed vertically above electromagnet as shown in the figure (position 1). The distance between the electromagnet and the magnet is 5cm. The electromagnet has 850 turns and its core diameter is 3cm and length is 4cm. The core of the coil is made of pure iron (6.3x 10-3 H/m). The current applied into the coil is 5A.
Calculate the following:
1- The magnetic field strength (B) at lcm, 3cm away from the electromagnet, and at the surface of the permanent magnet.
2- Calculate the attracting force applied at piece of magnet.
3- Repeat step 1 and 2 if the permanent magnet is placed in position 2.
4- The permanent magnet should move from position 2 to position 1, at what speed the motion will be.
We want to design a digital resonator with the following requirements: a 3 dB bandwidth of 0.05 rad, a resonant frequency of 0.375 cycles/sam, and zeros at z = 1 and z = -1. Using trial-and-error approach, determine the difference equation of the ..
A Lorentz medium with finite conductivity. Derive the electric field update equation (analagous to Equation 10.14) for a single-pole ADE Lorentz medium with finite conductivity σ.
The transistor threshold voltages are VTN = +0.4 V and VTP = -0.4 V. - Determine the peak current in the inverter and the input voltage at which it occurs for (a) (W/L)n = 3,(W/L)p = 7.5;
A 40 kHz sinusoidal voltage has zero phase angle and a maximum amplitude of 2.5 mV. When this voltage is applied across theterminals of a capacitor the resulting steady-statecurrent has a maximum amplitude of 125.67μA
Assume in a certain frequency range that the ratio of output amplitude to input amplitude is proportional to 1/ω2. What is the slope of the Bode plot in this frequency range, expressed in dB per decade?
The below circuit has an output 10 times the difference between the 2 input signals. Show how this could be realised using 2 Operational Amplifiers and 5 Resistors, and provide values of the resistors
What value would a weighted k-NN prediction model-with k = 16 (i.e., the full dataset) and using a weighting scheme of the reciprocal of the squared Euclidean distance between the neighbor and the query-return for the CPI of Russia when it is appl..
What fixed point unsigned representation, with how many bits and how many bits to the left of the binary point, should we use if we need to represent numbers in the range 0 - 100 with a resolution of .001 or better
Semiconductor A is direct band gap and semiconductor B is indirect gap. For providing same short circuit current density of a solar cell, which material will need more thickness
What is the applications of normal probability distribution in electrical engineering?
A 50 ohms lossless transmission line is to be connected to a load of 25 ohm. Use a lamda/4(quarterLamda) length of line of unknown impedance between the load and the 50-ohm line to match it,
