A lens of focal length +1.25 cm is used as a simple magnifier by holding outside the eye. Using a standard ideal near point of 25 cm: 1- if an insect is viewed through the lens, what is angular magnification 2- if instead the insect is viewed through the lens with near point of 25 cm, what is the angular magnification?
