It is important to note that sources like the client's website or a listing for the client company on Wikipedia are NOT independent and are subject to considerable bias.

An organisation's website serves a marketing purpose and is part of the image that a company wishes to portray to the world and thus is not likely to contain anything that may have a negative effect on the organisation's image. A number of potential resources sources have been mentioned in the introduction to this module which can be found in the Torrens Library. These sources are high quality, independent resources which will allow you to gain insights into your client.
