Due to the fact that this project is in a early requirement gathering stage, the above requirement list is not complete. To make sure that this project can be successful, you, as a system analyst decide to schedule a JAD with Debra, several top managers, and some sales representatives to create a more complete requirements. To ensure the success of this JAD meeting, you need to do the following tasks.
Build an UML model in Microsoft Visio. This UML model will serve as requirement document for this project. It should contain the following components.
a. A use case model with both use case diagram and one use case narrative documents. This required use case (for writing use case narrative) is the «Post Message» use case. This use case narrative should be embedded directly in the Microsoft Visio use case (under the use case property, document tab) environment. You can decide on the format for your use case narrative. (It is a good idea to use the textbook examples as templates). Regardless of the format, the typical course of actions should be included in your narrative.
b. A class diagram with proper attributes, relationships and key operations (behaviors).
c. Neatness of your diagram, please use the concepts of model, package, and sub-system well in the Visio model. Create both your diagrams under the static model from the model explorer in Visio. Make sure that class diagram is created under «static structure» diagram and use case model is created under «use case» diagram.
