Assessment - Report on Findings
Students will analyse and write-up their findings from the survey research they conducted in Assessment 2, similar to the 'Results' section of an academic paper. Students will then compare and contrast these findings to what the body of literature presents on this research question and all of this information will be synthesized and applied to the field of counselling, similar to the 'Discussion' section of an academic paper. 2. Brief Introduction
• Some of this can be copied from the Purpose statement in Assessment 1
• Needs to briefly explain the research gap, how this research with Master of Counselling students addressed this gap, and the reasoning behind any changes made to the Research Question and/or Survey Questions

4. Results are presented ["Just the facts" - discussion and analysis come later]
• Describe data collection process (e.g., which online survey platform, link shared through online student forum, were all items completed)
• At least one graph and one other figure (e.g. table or different type of graph) are used to depict the data
• Each figure is explained clearly and concisely immediately after the figure
• Central tendency (mean, median and/or mode) and dispersion (standard deviation and/or quartiles) are given for each applicable survey question
5. Discussion - the findings from the results are plainly discussed, compared to the literature and analysed
• The findings from the results are discussed, including what they may show the reader and how they may apply to field of counselling
• The literature relevant to these findings is presented
• How these findings reinforce, confirm, counter, contradict... those found in the literature
• How these findings address the gaps in the literature and/or lead to new questions
