Following a suggestion from the counsellor at his workplace, Tony Ridley has contacted the Central Community Centre. Tony's wife, Sue, died from breast cancer last year, and he has been left with the care of his two children, Sarah, aged 11, and Peter, aged 9. Tony reports that he is feeling overwhelmed, says he has been drinking too much and feels unable to cope at times with the demands of his work, the children and his own grief. Tony has been accessing grief counselling. Tony and Sue were childhood sweethearts. They were married straight after leaving school and immigrated to Australia in 2010. Tony is quite apprehensive about attending the counselling as he is worried someone will take his kids away, and he is all they have left. Tony has worked for PTW Civil Construction since arriving in the Country. Tony's boss, Nick, has been very supportive, allowing him time away from work; however, Tony is worried that if he continues taking time off, he will lose his job, his kids, and his house.
