You have just started a new role as an industry analyst. You are preparing your research agenda for the next year, where you will be doing research into new technology trends and products that claim to offer those capabilities:

-by meeting with companies developing new products, after signing non-disclosure agreements with them.

-by surveying and meeting end users and executives on their needs (also signing non-disclosure agreements with them on their strategies).

-You will be writing articles positioning various vendors in the market,

-and predicting future trends in technology features and capabilities.

You are expected to generate revenue for your firm by consulting with end users to advise them about ways to leverage your research in their purchasing and project decisions. Vendors are allowed to sponsor (i.e., fund) research article topics on your published research agenda.
