1. Orca, Inc. announced today that it will begin paying annual dividends. The first dividend will be paid next year in the amount of $1.85 a share. The following dividends will be $1.5, $1.45, and $2.53 a share annually for the following three years, respectively. After that, dividends are projected to increase by 4.2 percent per year. How much are you willing to pay today to buy one share of this stock if your required rate of return is 12.6 percent?

2. You anticipate that XSensors Co. will pay a constant dividend of $2.75 each year for the next 10 years. After that, the dividend will increase to $4.89 and hold steady for another 10 years. After that, you expect the dividend will start increasing every year at a constant rate of 2.6 percent per year, forever. Your discount rate for this stock is 13.3 percent.
