It is desired to produce refrigeration at -25F. A heat source is available at 500F and the ambient temperature is 80F. A heat engine can produce produce work operating between the 500-F source and the ambient surroundings. This work in turn can be used to drive the refrigerator. Assuming all processes are reversible, determine the ratio of the heat transfer from the source to the heat transfer from the refrigerated space.
