Question: 1. Using dimensionless analysis, arrange the following variables into several dimensionless groups:

Pipe diameter D, ft

Fluid velocity v, ft/s

Pipe length L, ft

Fluid viscosity m, lbm/s ft

Fluid density r, lbm/ft3

Show by dimensional analysis how these groups are related to pressure drop in lbf/in2.

2. Using D (diameter), p (density), and g (acceleration of gravity) as Q's, form a dimensionless group using as the additional variable p (viscosity). Use the MLt system and solve the equations (do not do by inspection)
