Write a critical analysis of the study considering:

i) Evidence of causation in relation to the study question, using principles of causal inference. For this part of the question you may draw on the whole paper

ii) How far the study has eliminated chance, bias and confounding and relate this to the study design type. For this part of the question please only consider the prospective cohort study element

You should conclude with recommendations which may include:
- Recommendations with regard to how far public health action should be informed on the basis of this study
- Recommendations with regard to what further information is needed

This is largely a practical task based on a single study, therefore wider references may be used to support your points, but only as feasible within the indicative word count.
