Discuss the following scenarios from the Module 7 lesson: (applied behavior analysis) A parent gives you tea and crackers while you are in their home providing services. The child that you work with is eating his own snack and his mother placed tea and crackers in front of you without asking. Imagine this parent has limited conversational English. It may be possible that she will misunderstand your attempt to reject the gift because tea and food is an important custom for her culture, and you risk offending her by denying the gift. Apply the decision making process steps from the lesson and test the scenario using the "Grocery Store Test" and the "Televisability" Test to answer the following questions:

What do you do? What decision do you arrive at? Do you accept the gift or not? What are the possibilities of consequences if you accept the gift or not? There is not one right or wrong answer here, and (as with any scenario question) additional variables will exist in real life situations.
