Total peer review articles 6

Make sure there are lots of articles about your topic (or, at least something close to your topic), as you need to annotate 6 articles total. They should be mostly primary research peer-review papers, not review papers (they are much harder to annotate - and grade!)!

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANNOTATED BIBLIOGRAPHIES Each annotated bibliography (i.e. 1 and 2) should include:

1. Annotations for THREE separate primary, peer-reviewed articles (see instructions on the next page).

2. A concluding section (150 words max.) that includes statements about:

a. the overall significance of all 3 studies (an overview of the combined results of all three studies indicating why the general issue they address is important; this could include one or more key questions that remain to be answered),

b. what you personally thought was most interesting about the biological issue(s) addressed by the three papers, and

c. what research would you would most like to see done next (describe a single research project you think would be most interesting to do next, based on the results of these three papers)

You must submit/include a PHOTOCOPY/SCAN OF THE ABSTRACT (full first page) of each paper for which you do an annotation. This is so we can make sure you didn't just paraphrase the abstract for your annotation, and we can see the authors, journal information, publication date, etc.

TOTAL LENGTH of each annotation (excluding the title and citation) should NOT exceed 250 words. Please try to submit a paper copy of your annotations, along with photocopies of the abstract of each paper.
